Q: Is there a joining fee?

A: No, not to join but pupils pay £30 to attend an audition and receive an electronic headshot taken on the day, prior to their audition.

Q: Will my child be registered with Spotlight?

A: Yes, if you would like him or her to be, most of our performers are. There is an annual subscription of £100 payable to Spotlight paid by the performer.

Q: My daughter is 19, can she still apply?

A: Yes, Spotlight identifies children and Young Performers up to the age of 24.

Q: Do you accept everyone who applies to be part of the agency?

A: No, although we do recognise special skills and other languages spoken which may be added to our profile database.

Q: Are you linked to a performing arts academy?

Y: Yes, we work closely with the teachers at the International Drama Academy, recognising pupil potential and suitability for roles.

Q: Who teaches students at the International Drama Academy?

A: A mixture of qualified teachers, specializing in drama, dance and music – as well as West End performers and industry professionals.
